Shanghai Foch Film and TV Culture Investment. With Kagura and Shinpachi at his side, he sets off to get the device fixed though, as usual, nothing is ever that simple for the Yorozuya team.įilled with tongue-in-cheek humor and moments of heartfelt emotion, Gintama's fourth season finds Gintoki and his friends facing both their most hilarious misadventures and most dangerous crises yet. Mistaking it for his alarm clock, Gintoki proceeds to smash the device the next morning and suddenly discovers that the world outside his apartment has come to a standstill. A fatally injured crew member emerges from the ship and gives Gintoki a strange, clock-shaped device, warning him that it is incredibly powerful and must be safeguarded. Meanwhile, when Gintoki drunkenly staggers home one night, an alien spaceship crashes nearby. Does Gin-chan really spend all that cash playing pachinko? However, Shinpachi and Kagura still haven't been paid. Looks like next episode is Takasugi’s intro, and judging by the tone of the preview, it seems it’ll be a Serious One.Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura return as the fun-loving but broke members of the Yorozuya team! Living in an alternate-reality Edo, where swords are prohibited and alien overlords have conquered Japan, they try to thrive on doing whatever work they can get their hands on. Hasegawa is a fun character (granted, most of them are fun characters) and any episode that has Hijikata in it, no matter how briefly, is a top tier episode. I don’t really have much to say about this episode, but I enjoyed it immensely. Naturally, he ends up fired from that job, too, and the episode ends in the exact same place it started. In the second half, he follows some surprisingly good advice from Gin and manages to land a job as a taxi driver. The first half of the episode focuses on Hasegawa trying to find another job, but continually getting turned down (and called a variation on DORK) because he refuses to take off his sunglasses. Now he’s homeless, and to his credit, he doesn’t blame the Odd Jobs crew for it. Too bad for me cause I like watching this show while breeding Pokey-mans before bed good luck for you since now I get to review Hasegawa’s Return for y’all.Īnywho, last time Hasegawa appeared, shit happened and he ended up getting fired. Turns out I didn’t have time to watch any more episodes yesterday after all.
THE STORY THUS FAR: this episode is the one right after the last one I reviewed so there’s nothing new to mention here
